Here, human curation comes first, not algorithms. Every edition is agenda free, and deeply rooted in local insight.

🧠 Our Why

We launched in 2023 after seeing how most local news was drowning in paywalls, clickbait, or written by folks with no stake in our city. We believed LA deserved better: a smart, respectful, and scroll-friendly way to keep up with what matters. That’s what inspired CurationsLA.

👏 Three Years of Good Vibes

We’ve been your local curator for nearly three years (since January 2023)! In late September 2025, we rebranded from CuratedLA to CurationsLA, and moved our home to la.curations.cc. This move marks our commitment to being public-facing, accessible, and fully mission-aligned: don’t be fooled, we’re not newcomers, even if our website is fresh.
